General Principles

  • Respect: Treat all participants, organizers, and volunteers with respect and courtesy.
  • Inclusivity: Create a welcoming environment for people of all backgrounds, experience levels, and identities.
  • Collaboration: Support fellow participants and foster a spirit of learning and innovation.
  • Integrity: Maintain academic honesty and follow all competition rules fairly.

Expected Behavior

  • • Be supportive and encouraging to others
  • • Follow event rules and guidelines
  • • Report any issues to organizers promptly
  • • Keep workspaces clean and organized
  • • Use appropriate language in all communications

❌ Don't

  • • Engage in harassment or discrimination
  • • Cheat or violate academic integrity
  • • Disrupt other participants' work
  • • Use offensive or inappropriate language
  • • Share or seek unauthorized external help

Technical Conduct

Original Work: All submissions must be your own work created during the event period.

Fair Competition: No unauthorized collaboration, code sharing, or external assistance unless explicitly permitted.

Resource Usage: Use only approved tools, libraries, and resources as specified in event rules.

System Integrity: Do not attempt to hack, manipulate, or inappropriately access event systems or other participants' work.

Enforcement

Violations of this code of conduct may result in:

  • • Warning from event organizers
  • • Disqualification from current or future events
  • • Removal from event premises
